Spice up your home with a JKH Home piece: The organically shaped ceramic base is the work of the renowned Yugoslav factory KIL (Keramična industrija Liboje), which was famous for its quality craftsmanship and recognizable ceramic pieces. The surface is adorned with a delicate iridescent mother-of-pearl glaze and a characteristic craquelure texture (subtly cracked glaze), giving the lamp the authentic patinated charm of its era.
The lamp has been renovated in the spirit of sustainability (upcycled). The original lampshade has been replaced with a new, hand-stitched lampshade with a lining (made without the use of glue). The textile pattern belongs to the Veronika collection, interpreting Slovenian symbols in a castle/manorial style, which were documented by Jože Karlovšek in his ethnological research of Slovenian ornamentation.
