The slovETNO flower is a digitally manipulated symbol of the Slovenian heritage. Inspired by two things; the Slavic symbol of sun and the godess Lada, a symbol of eternity and the Triglav flower. The Slovene alpine flower grows on rocks and gravel mostly in the Julian Alps, it blooms from June to August. Associated with the legend of the Gold Horn (Zlatorog), in which it has miraculous healing power. When wounded flowers grow from his blood when he eats the flower his wounds are magically heeled and he regains all his strength.
About Živa: In Slavic mythology, Živa is the godess of water and life, fertility and love, and the protector of women and children. In old records, she always appears in connection with the time of harvest.
